Rev. Calvin L. Greer, Sr. is the Senior Pastor. He was called to serve Kainos Community Church while under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ralph Douglas West, Senior Pastor of The Church Without Walls in Houston where he was a member of the Kerygma Ministry, Pastoral Care and a worship leader.  He has experience as an elder, pastor (assistant/youth/young adult), and temporary chaplain in various ministries in New Mexico and Alaska.  He has coordinated marriage, men’s and prison ministries in those roles.  He also had a twenty year career with the U.S. Air Force and is a war veteran.

Pastor Greer is currently working on Masters degree at Houston Graduate School of Theology.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education/Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University where he also studied the Old and New Testaments.  He earned an Associates degree in Mechanical and Electrical Technology from Community College of the Air Force.

Sister Lethia Greer is a teacher, minister in training, and prayer warrior. She holds a Master’s degree in Education.

The Greers have been married for 36 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
