Dear Kainos Family,

We greet you in the powerful name of Jesus the Christ!  We invite you to join us in our 2012 Church Fast which is being held during the Lenten Season of the church.  Lent is traditionally a time of self-denial and renewal.  We as a church are offering a Lenten sacrifice of seeking God above everything else-through fasting, prayer and discernment.  Our “Season of Fasting and Prayer” will begin on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 and conclude on Sunday, April 8, 2012 (Easter).

We as a church have experienced great changes, loss and grace over the last year. Through it all, God has been faithful!  The times in which we are living are turbulent and unpredictable.  We need to “press our way” into the mind and heart of God as we seek God’s will, pray for the impossible and expect Breakthroughs.  There is great power and revelation when a church sets out to fast and pray.  Our spiritual capacity to hear and receive is increased.  Breakthroughs become realities.

We thank God for Minister Leisa Wilkins-Smith who wrote and compiled our Awesome Fasting Devotional Book this year!  

We are expecting to receive the stability of God’s Word, the fullness of God’s power, wisdom and most of all breakthroughs in our impossible situations.
