"Radically teaching and training new disciples for Christ" 

The Christian Development Center (CDC) is the educational and development arm of the church. The goal of the CDC is to grow up the body of Christ through bible studies, workshops, classes, and retreats. One key component is the Disciple's Life Institute (DLI), whose goal is to develop, train, and send out disciples for Christ. A disciple is a learner/follower of Christ - one who grows and wants to be more like Christ.

DLI operates on a semester basis, with two 7-week classroom teaching sessions within each semester. DLI offers short-session classes during its summer session and CDC offers seminars and boot camps to re-enforce the DLI classroom teaching. The foundation of discipleship training at Kainos will continue to be the 4-part Master Life Discipleship Series; therefore, students completing this series will be eligible to participate in graduation exercises. DLI offers a strong curriculum of other discipleship, leadership and training for adults. Classes for youth and children are currently offered with a full curriculum in the planning stages.

CDC expects the quality and effectiveness of the classes offered under the auspices of DLI to become a testament to what God is doing at Kainos Community Church.
